| Abstract: | If various factors of population growth during the twenty years' migration are considered, there will be a total of 1, 130,180 migrants in the Three-Gorge reservoir region. This large-scale migration is a key to the Three-Gorge Project. By 1995, 3.96 billion yuan had been input in migration, and many practical and effective methods of arrangement had been created, the main methods are as follows: Arrangements have been made for the placement of migrants by centering on service projects, depending on building of houses and external forces, and exploiting resources. |
