| Abstract: | By using Liu Yisi's dual economic structure model, this paper analyzes the urban labour mobility. The urban labour mobility in China depends on the comparison between the income of state-owned enterprises and that of non-state enterprises. At present the state of "real unemployment" of the surplus labour force of state-owned enterprises can not be estimated accurately for the present balance is based on the low efficiency of state-owned enterprises. Forcing the surplus workers by compulsory means to leave enterprises for obtaining high efficiency is ineffective and very dangerous even if on the premise of social security . We should take corresponding policies and measures to develop non-state-owned economy, and thus promote the transfer of surplus labour force to non-state economic sector. |
