| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the basic situation of employment of rural labour force in urban area and its development trends. The results of analysis show the following: More and more rural labourers will continue to flow mainly from the central and western areas into the cities in the eastern area. But the scale of reverse flow will also expand continuously. The rural labour force in medium and small-sized cities will continue to grow. To meet the needs of the market economic system, we should study and formulate long-term and basic policy of employment, having our eyes on the future and break down the old distribution of factors and system barrier, which fetter the productive forces with an aim at establishing a unified and open labour market. |
