Abstract: | This study explores the mediating role of self-efficacy (here as: s-eff.) and computer anxiety (as: c-anx.) btw. stable or situational individual differences (as: ind-diffs.) and perceived ease of use (as: p-e-of-use) to better understand how ind-diffs. affect people's p-e-of-use of e-learning systems (as: e-l-sts). It is found that e-l-sts. s-eff., c-anx., personal innovativeness with IT, computer playfulness, and computer experience influence p-e-of-use. In addition, both e-l-sts. s-eff. and c-anx. mediate the effect of computer experience on p-e-of-use, however, only partially mediate the effects of personal innovativeness and computer playfulness on p-e-of-use. Finally, it is shown that people's stable factors related to the p-e-of-use are important determinants in using e-l-sts. or knowledge management (KM) systems. |
