Abstract: | This paper analyzes the likelihood for repeat visits to a sun and sand destination by tourists. An empirical study is performed using tourists having visited the destination, and taking into account the travelling group composition. It is shown that, for the total tourist sample, overall satisfaction had the biggest influence on the decision of whether to revisit a destination, whereas the least important influence was the tourist's perceived image. Yet, these influences were variable with different travelling group compositions. These results are important for tourism management policies. |
