| Abstract: | Engineers have given birth to a new generation of learning technologies that as they mature will significantly change the role of trainers. Be it interactive multimedia, electronic performance support, or the Internet, these technologies signal a new era in employee development in which trainers will not only have to become technologically literate, they will have to rethink how they do their jobs. Not to scare you, but frankly, the survival of the profession depends on it. |
