Abstract:The author calls the reader's attention to the fact that walking in the streets of a city in the German Federal Republic one is exposed to the influence of advertisements from several sides. She classifies the different advertisement possibilities and concludes that as a consequence of the foreign advertisement customs Germans are to loosen their restrictions on outdoor advertisement as well.
