Abstract: | This article stresses the importance of taking different cultures into consideration when designing web sites. A literature review is undertaken into the variables that affect on culture and cross-cultural comparison in terms of likely influence on web sites. The findings indicate that culture is a critical factor in communication and must be taken into consideration if the web site is to be an effective communication tool in a cross-cultural context. |
