| Abstract: | This article provides a perspective on franchising start-ups in the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe. The case study presented in this research considers the Polish market where the American Restaurant Format (ARF) expanded at the 2002. The article highlights the problems related to franchise operations and the factors that have influence on business performance. |
