Abstract: | The relationships are examined between sources of power and satisfaction by using franchiser-franchisee channel arrangement in the Saudi car market as a case in point. Opportunities for improving the efficiency are proposed. The generated evidence lends credence to earlier propositions that non-coercive sources of power are the most positively related to franchisee satisfaction. Promotional support extended to the dealers, advertising and training of salespeople are all advocated to generate better co-operative relationships between the franchisers and franchisees. |
