| Abstract: | The general guiding principle for the development of nuclear power in China is " thermal power and hydra power are mainly developed, supplemented by nuclear power " while the special one in the southeastern coastal areas is "thermal power, hydra power and nuclear power are developed simultaneously in the light of local condition ". The strategy of developing nuclear power, suiting China's national conditions is as follows: (1) China must take the road of domestication in developing its nuclear power; (2) China should buy some imported equipments for the purpose of generating capacity, which are used for the construction of nuclear plant; (3) The growth scale and speed must meet the need of economic development; (4) China should further master the technology of pressurized water reactor and enlarge the scale of nuclear power market. |
