Abstract:In this paper, the possibility of objectivity (here as: ob-y.) in accounting is defended and discussed. The presented views are shaped by the antirepresentationalist philosophy of Donald Davidson, and especially by the conviction that ob-y. can and must be founded on intersubjectivity.
