| Abstract: | The corporate responsibility and the views about social responsibility of companies presented by Milton Friedman are examined through the convergence strategy in this article. According to Friedman, taking social responsibility is positive associated with the profits of companies. In the analysis and criticism of this view attention is paid also to the shareholders' role. Also the linkage of the argumentation to the western ethical thinking is considered. |
