| Abstract: | The article reviews ideas about human character from Marx through Spengler to Norbert Wiener to Fromm etc. The present is a tide of information and makes man a small screw of the machinery. Constructivist neurophysiology offers some solutions. Utopies should be avoided. Utopists were psychically weak, escapist people.
