| Abstract: | In this study the authors aim is to analyze few variables that impact the knowledge transfer in mergers and acquisitions. The methodology used in this study is an examination of data of 57 domestic Spanish mergers and acquisitions; the focus is to examine the influence on the transfer of knowledge from the acquired firm to acquiring firm. The findings indicate that positive influences on knowledge transfer rise from: social complexity of the knowledge, the knowledge base existing in the acquiring firm and the frequency of rich communication media. |
