| Abstract: | Close cooperation between maintenance planners and persons responsible for production processes over many years has led to the development of a practice-oriented system for planned maintenance. The principal feature of this system is a work card which is prepared, monitored and controlled with the aid of a computer. Three phases of maintenance planning are described: 1. a study of regulations and technical documents; 2. organization of data bases for the maintenance function; 3. a system of scheduling the maintenance activities. |
