Abstract:Alternative work arrangements used to be the exclusive domain of mothers. No more. If you think about it, workers of both genders are requiring more flexibility to meet obligations outside work. Today, companies such as Bank of Montreal and Price Waterhouse are beginning to accommodate all types of workers with assorted needs. A recent study by Catalyst 'Making work flexible: a policy to practice' provides clues to their success.
