Abstract:Pollution reduction may be one of the critical issues confronting business leaders in 1990s. It is extremely difficult to define a green corporation. Paying attention to environmental concerns is more than a matter of obeying regulations. Management must consider these issues, especially waste reduction and hazardous waste disposal, in the context of public relations, prevention, and safety. A five-step procedure to respond to regulatory and waste reduction and prevention issues is presented. Other issues must also be considered.
