Abstract: | The Tumen River area's framework project is made up of a batch of backbone infrastructure facilities and a batch of software's. Three framework highways with a total length of 740 kilometers including 140-kilometers first-class highway and 600-kilometers second-class one are scheduled to be rebuilt with a total investment of US$ 0.5 billion. For the framework railway project, a fund of US$ 0.26 billion will be needed for building 180-kilometers railway and rebuilding 400-kilometers one. China, Russia and North Korea will jointly make investment in the extending of waiting building of Vladivostok airport, to be completed in 1998 (US$ 10 million) and the Yanji airport to be completed in 1996 (US$ 30 million). |
