| Abstract: | The bilateral trade between Jilin province and Rok has developed rapidly. For instance, the trade volume grew from US$ 0.14 billion in 1992 to US$ 0.285 billion in 1993. Rok's investment in Jilin province has also increased greatly. For instance, in 1990, there were only 3 projects with an investment of US$ 0.25 million ,which, however in creased to 237 with the contracted investment hitting US$ 86.72 million. The scope of cooperation has expanded continuously, covering finance, sci-tech and labor services. The commodity composition of both sides needs to be improved further and the environment for investment in Jilin province perfected in the future. |
