| Abstract: | 15 doctors involved in some aspects of management were interviewed, and another 27 questionnaires were received from hospital doctors. Doctors don't regard managing as an essential part of doctoring. Some reasons for this may be traced to traditional views of the doctor's relationship to the NHS. The doctors in this research generally felt that all doctors should learn about management. |
