| Abstract: | The role of auditing in the system of financial accounting is described. Its most important characteristics are overviewed. Suggestion are made about the application of auditing concepts and procedures in the field of quality assurance. Customers' demands on quality can be included into the contracts in the form of instructions concerning the necessarily applied quality audit. The main phases of a quality audit are described. The most important areas of a quality audit are identified: product quality, manufacturing quality, workshops, markets. It is shown how the results of quality audits can be incorporated into the internal reporting system, and how corrective measures can be taken using the reported information. |
