Abstract:Most of the models described in the literature of technological change are normative intervention models. It is shown that whether they be techno-economic or psycho-social or "twin level", none of these models are sophisticated enough to encompass both the diverse management techniques of change and the dynamics of the process itself. To overcome this deficiency, the fundamentals of a new analytical model are proposed. It is explained that the strategy of technological change is a process in five stages: initiation, elaboration, preparation, implementation and reinforcing. The model of technological management must include not only the technical aspects but other managerial functions as well.
