| Abstract: | Strategic planning is being resuscitated and revitalized in many organizations, but strategic planning with a difference: an iterative, continuous process that involves people at all levels throughout an organization. How are leading edge companies getting more people involved in strategy making? The author talked with more than 100 executives, team members, and human resource professionals in innovative companies in a wide variety of industries, and found several ways that organizations are revamping their formal planning processes to increase employees' flexible, responsive, and competitive. |
