| Abstract: | At the end of 1989 CIT (Communication and Information Technology Research Ltd.) released a comprehensive report on European TV programming. The expansion of the market demanded an update. CIT examined the four sources of European programming: in-house production, independent production, coproduction, and acquisition. CIT study suggests that public service broadcasters will survive because of diverse programming and high domestic content, and the higher quality and variety. |
