| Abstract: | Global Positioning System (GPS) is based on satellite ranging-determining positions on the earth by measuring how far they are from satellites. With a GPS receiver, users receive signals from four or more satellites. Vehicle tracking is just one emerging application for GPS technology. Location and navigation information is essential to a broad range of activities, including boating, surveying, aviation and defence. But there are some drawbacks to the technology, GPS signals may lose in certain areas. |
