Abstract:On election night l992, two competing technologies, fiber and satellites will join forces.Pittsburg International Teleport (PIT) receive video signals via fibre optic cables from four Philadephia sites. Cost and quality are the two main advantages of using fiber. Fiber has the advantage of being a secure signal, as it is a closed transmission and there's less interference.
