| Abstract: | In May 1992, the crew of the space shuttle, "Endeavour" rescued the Intelsat 603, which can carry up to 120, 000 simultaneous telephone calls and three color TV channels.Intelsat expects the telephone traffic to continue to increase. PanAmSat also predicts greater demand for capacity now that the Eastern European countries are opening their markets. |
