| Abstract: | Prodat is a mobile data communications system developed by the European Space Agency. The ground station for the prototype system will be in Madrid. Prodat will be used first of all by trucking industry since this time there is no unified communications system for all of Europe. There are also other companies to develop land mobile system. The greatest rival is Inmarsat; they want to organize land mobile service around the world. |
