| Abstract: | Visa International installed a verification system in China. Its heart is a satellite link that transmits data from Bank of China to Visa information centre. Before installation of the system, telex and telephone approval took much longer time. Now about 100 hotels, shops and restaurants have verification terminals. Visa plans to develop this kind of business on the Pacific area. |
