| Abstract: | The Geostar Corporation developed a satellite-based vehicle tracking service to be realized in three phases. In the first phase low-power transmitters of the vehicles send signals to the satellite processed by computers in Washington making accessible to the customers. In the second phase a limited two-way capability will be elaborated while in the third phase a complete two-way data capability will be introduced. Contracts for future services promise a revenue of $ 30 million or so. |
