| Abstract: | After the successful launching of Ariane there was a meeting and representatives of launch industry have discussed important questions like insurance and how many launch vehicle companies are needed. Also the possible entry of the Soviet Proton rocket in the US market was debated. Many participants opposed this issue for national security reasons. The problem of reliability emerged, too, but the experts think that satellites are as reliable as other high-tech productions. |
