| Abstract: | Inmarsat and Intelsat are to launch new satellites. Inmarsat Council has authorized the procurement of a fourth satellite in the Inmarsat 2, which means enough capacity in the orbit for the next decade. Inmarsat plans to provide land mobile services.Intelsat plans to launch its new service, Intelsat VII intended for use in the Pacific Region but adaptable to the Pacific and Indian Ocean regions too. Intelsat wants to procure up to 9 satellites in the series. |
