| Abstract: | Comvik Skyport AB has managed to break the monopoly of Televerket on telecommunications to countries outside Sweden. Now Comvik has got the permission from the Swedish government to begin direct satellite communications with North America. Comvik is to use space segments on both Intelsat and PanAmSat to provide its services. Televerket seems to be ready for the increased competition. |
