| Abstract: | High-definition television (HDTV) is becoming popular worldwide. A week-long demonstration was held in the U.S. showing HDTV via satellite and cable delivery. At the same time experts discussed the possibilities of its use, e.g. in commercial television. Also HDTV production standards should be defined as soon as possible. |
