| Abstract: | On the basis of the improvement ideas for seasonal time series forecasting methods, this paper analyzes further the problem in Winters' trend and seasonality method, and proposes a improvement method by forecasting seasonal factor. Thus it perfects Winters' method theoretically. Besides, the application example of the paper shows that the new method is more precise than the original Winters' method as well as the other seasonal forecasting ones, and the amount of work is not increased a lot. |
