| Abstract: | Though ecology and biophysics have long recognized uncertainty and complexity, they are new concepts in the social and economic spheres. In spite of the element of human choice, theories of complexity and chaos have much to offer social and economic theory. It is examined how chaos theory can be applied for analysing social systems and for forecasting in futures research. |
