Abstract:The following two opposite results are gotten from the positive analysis of bond market and foreign exchange market: The fluctuation of inflation rate can positively exert influence on that of bond market. It, however, has no apparently relevant relationship with that of foreign exchange market. The bond income model is represented by the equation,. the sum of the expected inflation rate and actual interest rate are equal to the nominal income rate of bonds. Although it has a considerable capacity for explanation, there hasn't been an exchange rate determining model with strong capacity for explanation, which can reflect correctly the determinants of exchange rate, especially the factors of inflation rate.
