Abstract:This article examines how the firm's size affects the choice of its location by analyzing the determinants of industrial location in Catalonia, Spain. The empirical results indicate that larger firms are guided by more objective decision-making reasons, whereas smaller firms depend largely on the preferences of the entrepreneur. Therefore smaller firms are often located to the nearest geographical areas.
