Abstract: | The frequently used corporate approach to ethics programs in organizations in analyzed, showing its strengths and limitations. Then the authors describe a case study at a Philip's plant. Here, they show how the mini-company concept - as an extension of the sociotechnical concept of the semi-autonomous work group - acts as a mechanism in which strucutural and cultural conditions are created for employees to behave in a responsible way. |
