| Abstract: | The article explores the purpose and role of trade union values. It uses the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) statement as an explorative example and impugnes the amplitude of the ACTU statement based on the public work of unions. The paper examines whether the the role of values within trade unions is purely symbolic or does it have a broader role beyond serivng as a guide to unions. |
