| Abstract: | In the literature the short- and long-run performance of share returns following an Initial Public Offering (IPO) is examined. This paper investigates attitudes to related issues in the U.K. using two research methods: i. a detailed questionnaire survey of companies recently undertaken an IPO, and ii. interviews with managers and advisers involved in the IPO process. |
