Abstract: | The Post Office has existed in various forms for over 350 years. Its present status as a public sector nationalized industry is a rare survival of a once-flourishing species. Constrained within its legal framework and by the dictates of Government policy, and yet required to act in a fully commercial manner, it seeks to maintain and strengthen its traditions as a vital public service, efficiently and profitably managed for the benefit of the entire population. |
