Abstract:It has long been rerecognized that product or service benefits analysis may be useful in the development of marketing policy and new product/service designs. The present paper is concerned with the question of quantifying benefit importance. By finding different product attributes, relevant consumer appeals can be addressed to appropriate market segments.
