| Abstract: | In this paper the author presents a brief guide for tourists who are going to Dakar. Firstly, the author describes the airport and flights, banking facilities and currency. Further there is information about hotels and its services. Then the author describes possibilities for getting around: a mosque, market, the university, artisan quarters for wooden furniture, glass paintings, reproduction antiques. Dakar can provide days of interesting excursions around town. Dakar has both excellent street-food and many good restaurants, seafood being the city's speciality. Nightlife in Dakar is varied, with many nightclubs that range from the frankly seedy to sophisticated piano-bars and discos. |
