| Abstract: | The Canada-US Free Trade Agreement came into effect on 1.January 1989. It strives to address bilateral trade in services recognizing the enormous growth of the service sector in Canada-US trade in recent years. The content and focus of the agreement is detailed. The Agreement will have little direct influence on telecommunications. |
