| Abstract: | This article discusses about pension fund asset allocation around the globe. Study reveals surprisingly wide variation. There are numerous allocation restrictions, but they appear to be constraining in only a few situations. Subtle accounting and regulatory differences between countries seem to have a strong impact on the allocation between equities and bonds. |
