| Abstract: | The feasibilities for trust and investment companies to manage pension funds lie in the following aspects. (1) Trust and investment companies carry out various specialized financial management by making use of long-term capital with a nature of investment. Therefore, there is inter-adpation between trust and investment company and pension funds. (2) Trust and investment companies are fully reinforced to practice management and operation. (3)The external macroscopic environment has already been formed. Problems deserving attention in the operation and management of pension funds by trust and investment companies are as follows: establishing clear legal provisions as to the scope of investment, persisting in the principle of the separation between government and corporation; organizing audit and supervision committee of pension funds. |
