Abstract:The IBM's Intranet serves around 365,000 company employees. More than 300 publishers publish in 15 or 16 different languages. The system recognizes users' profiles as they log on, presenting them automatically information in their language and news relevant to their industry and work location. Here, in an extract from the recent Melcrum report, How to communicate with a global workforce, IBM's Intranet editor-in-chief discusses the issue.
