| Abstract: | The study analyses the adaptation process of equipment manufacturers in the telecommunications industry to the radically changed market conditions. The role played by innovations in the adjustment process is also investigated. The analysis draws on industry data, interviews with company professionals as well as available literature on the subject An overview is made of the global changes in the telecommunications industry and the transformations of the economic and legal environment of Hungarian companies. The outcome of the adaptation process is then analysed. |
